Audrey and Mason turned 8 months old today. I can't believe that we are definitely closer to one than zero! I love these babies more and more everyday. I know how quickly they grow so I have taken the time to enjoy the small stuff. When P was a baby I spent most of my time anticipating the next step. I have no problem that Audrey is just now starting to sit and isn't even close to crawling. This time last year I was struggling to make it through my last 8 weeks of school and want to quit every single day. Here is a little bit about the babies....
Mason! Oh boy, oh boy! He has two teeth on the bottom. He has been crawling like a champ for a few weeks now. He is wearing 6-9 months clothes still, but I see 12 months in the very near future. We are squeezing him into size 2 diapers, but desperately needs to be in size 3. (Yes, we over bought on diapers) He doesn't eat that great, and gags on most table foods we try. I believe he probably weighs around 18lbs. He still riding in his infant seat and will until he outgrows the maximum limit. Last week, when we were on vacation he starting pulling himself up to a standing position. He is into everything. I have to make sure everything is off the floor because it will be in his mouth otherwise. We also need to block off the DVD player soon. He loves giggling with his sister and watching Parker.
Audrey the princess. She is finally rolling over like a champ. She sits pretty well for long periods of time. She does bare weight on her legs now. She LOVES to eat. She will scream if you don't shovel it in fast enough or feed her brother while she waits. I started doing more table foods for her since she is so impatient. I think she likes it. I haven't noticed any gagging with her. She is weraing 6-9 months also but I think she will be here for a little while longer. She is still wearing size 2 diapers and they fit her nicely. She has the tiniest little feet ever. We bought her some 0-3 months shoes and they are too big. We believe she weighs around 17 lbs. She is defintely taller than her twin brother. She loves both of her brothers more than anything. She smilies so big when her Daddy gets home from work at night. She babbles Da Da Da.
