Oh how time flies...

Parker will be three months old soon and we will be celebrating our first wedding anniversary on March 29th. I can't believe how fast time goes. I made a short video of our journey. I hope you enjoy viewing it!

A little over ten weeks..

Parker is ten weeks old now! Well almost 11 as I am writing this. Yesterday, he met his first friend, Cole. Our friends came over with their baby Cole and of course I forgot to take pics of the babies together. Parker was a little fussy though, so I am not sure if he would have cooperated anyway. We also took him to the beach in the evening in the jogging stroller. It worked great but Parker of course wanted to be held. Chris was really concerned about the sun, so we didn't stay very long. We might attempt to go our local fair this weekend or next weekend.

I only have two weeks left of maternity leave. I am really sad about leaving my little man. He will be in good hands with the grandparents though.

**Edit- Chris just informed me that Cole is not Parker's first friend. He actually met my friend Kristy's baby Hannah last week as well. That is his girlfriend though! She sure is a cutie pie! Since we only saw them for a few minutes we didn't get pictures either. Bad Mommy!

Dream Stroller

I guess I am having "Stroller Envy" . LOL! Who ever thought a stroller could make me so excited. I love our Peg stroller, but there are so many really neat strollers out there. When we first started stroller shopping I thought the Bugaboo was pretty cool, but I couldn't even imagine spending that kind of cash on a stroller; since babies are only in them for so long. The McCoy's also got us a Maclaren umbrella stroller for when Parker can sit up on his own.

Once Parker came I realized what a good investment strollers can be especially if you actually use them often. I love to walk with my little man, so my newest obsession is having a jogging stroller. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Bumbleride Indie. Maybe if I am a good Mommy, I will get one.
***Note I will probably never run like this, but I do love to take an afternoon stroll.

New Car!!

Parker got his first car! LOL! I kept complaining to Chris about how squished we were in the Infiniti Coupe (yes, you heard it COUPE!!!) and it wasn't much better in the Jetta either. With lots of convincing Chris finally broke down and decided to look for a new car. We got a 2008 Ford Edge. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I feel like I am driving a limo. It will take some getting used to driving such a big car, but I can't explain how happy I am to be able to toss in the stroller groceries and still have a ton of room. Here is a pick of our newest baby:

Big boy!

Parker and I had a great week. He visited the Pedi last Friday and got his first shots. He did great. He was a little bit grumpy (not much different than normal) after his shots but overall he did great. He hung out at Grandma's house after. He kept Roxie dog company since she wasn't feeling well either. Parker weighed in a 7lbs 12oz!!!!!!!! He is almost out of 0-3 months clothes. I am hoping he will last through three months before we have to switch to 3-6 months.

Parker is a very sensitive (fussy) baby. You can't really put him down or he is upset. He loves to be held. If you make a loud noise he jumps. Just a senstive little man. Although Parker would prefer me to hold him all day that is just not possible. Well I was trying to cook dinner and he was screaming. Check out what happened when I tried to calm him so I could cook. LOL!!!!
