Big Events!

Well we have had a busy weekend and start to our week. Parker continues to amaze us daily. We can't believe what a little man he is turning into. Parker is STILL not sleeping through the night. I really think I need to read the Ferber book and do some tough love. It kills me, but sleep is important for mommy and daddy. Today my came over and she keeps insisting that I move the crib down before he falls out. He isn't pulling up yet, but I am sure it won't be long. So I took her advice and down the crib went. Where is my little newborn?

Father's day was fun. Chris decided he want to go to Ikea and look at some houses in Tampa on Davis Island. We hope to move up to Tampa in about a year or two. It is really rough on Daddy to have such a long commute to work. With Mommy being a teacher it shouldn't be too difficult to find a job in Tampa. Here are a few pictures from Fathers Day.

We took Parker to the pool for the first time. He LOVED it! I am going to try to take him to swimming lessons at the YMCA in July.

I know I mentioned before that I have the best husband, but I really do. He bought Parker and I a Baby Jogger City Elite. It is supposed to arrive on Thursday and I can't wait to start walking in style with my little man.

Exciting Summer Days

Parker has been really busy lately! I can't believe how quickly he is growing up. I love watching him develop and learn new things, but I can't help but wish it would slow down just a little. To think he will be six months at the end of June is crazy. His latest love is his jumparoo! He gets really excited when you put him in there. This weekend we invested in some foam mats for our floor. Since our entire first floor is tiled we thought it might save us some bumps and bruises over the next few months. Here are some pictures of Parkers past few days:

We gave Parker a sippy cup for the first time. He didn't really get it, but he will soon enough.

Parker is really enjoying his new foam mats!

He jumped so much it was time for a snooze!

He has so much fun with Aunt Dana!

Picnik Fun!

While lurking around on the Bump I saw a mention of a site called Picnik.com. So much fun! So of course I had to immediately play. I took a close up of my little man and did some photo editing. Isn't that just the sweetest angel face you have ever seen? You should definitely try it out. This could be my new toy.

The past few months in review!

Since I have been such a terrible blogger and I am going to do a quick rundown of the past few months starting with Easter which is where I wrote my last blog.

Parker celebrated his first Easter at Aunt Crystal and Uncle Chris's house in Clearwater. I guess he didn't think Easter was that exciting

He started to chew on his fingers constantly!

He put his feet in a pool for the first time!

He turned four months old and the whole sign thing is not such a good idea anymore. He now likes to tear them up!

My Grandmother, Parker's G.G. came for an entire month to help us out. We were able to celebrate Mother's Day together which was really neat!

We also went to eat in Clearwater at Johnnies. Parker really enjoyed seeing his Aunt Crystal. (of course Uncle Chris and Tully too!)

Parker learned how to sit in a tripod but he falls over fairly quick.

We took G.G. to South Beach to see Aunt Dana!

Lastly, Parker turned 5 months old!
